At Maverick Collies, we are committed to breeding beautiful and healthy dogs. Our breeding program prioritizes our dogs’ health by conducting extensive DNA testing on issues that may affect Collies, including Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Dermatomyositis (DMS), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), and Multi-Drug Resistance Mutation (MDR1). Maverick Collies is a benefactor of the Collie Health Foundation, and we are proud to support their mission of funding medical research projects that will benefit the future health of the Collie breed.
